“We don't have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.”
- Brene' Brown
Marney earned a bachelor's in business administration from Ferris State University, and a Master's in Family Community Services from Michigan State University. She is in the process of completing her Master of Social Work with a clinical focus through Spring Arbor University.
Marney has a strong background in working with parents and caregivers who are navigating the wild world of parenting. As a Certified Family Life Educator through the National Council on Family Relations, she has supported families dealing with the challenges of parenting in a variety of settings, including one-on-one coaching, group work, and workshops. In addition to supporting parents and caregivers, Marney is interested in working with a wide variety of people facing challenges in all seasons of life, including couples and families, individuals, children, teens, and young adults. Areas of interest include anxiety, life transitions, challenging negative thinking, school avoidance, and stress and coping challenges.
Marney approaches this work with empathy, compassion, and connection. She offers a relaxed, approachable atmosphere and judgment-free space. Marney believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to self-work, and is committed to meeting you where you are, walking beside you on your journey.
