Lillian earned her Bachelor's in social work from Grand Valley State University and is in the process of completing her Master's of Social Work with a clinical focus through Spring Arbor University’s Advanced Standing Program.
Lillian has a strong background in working with individuals with disabilities, families, adolescents, and adults. Through this experience, she has also acquired certification as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP). With this background, Lillian is interested in working with a wide variety of individuals facing many different types of adversity. These areas include anxiety, depression, behavioral or adjustment challenges, and the trials associated with living with or being a family member of an individual with a disability or substance use challenges. Through her education and experiences, she has been able to gain a substantial amount of respect for and knowledge around healing and growth from a wide variety of life’s obstacles.
