“Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn't you - all of the expectations, all of the beliefs - and becoming who you are.”

In my approach to therapy, I am deeply committed to placing the individual at the center of the process. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance as the cornerstone of effective counseling. My goal is to provide a welcoming and secure environment where you can gain insight into your inner world and begin healing from past and present experiences.

My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in English and Community Health from Central Michigan University, which I attained in 2021. I am pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, specializing in Trauma and Crisis at Walden University.

Over the years, I have volunteered as a Peer Advocate for a Sexual Aggression Support group and am employed as an advocate for the State of Michigan's Division of Victim Services. My professional focus encompasses a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, with a particular emphasis on addressing depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, religious trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Drawing from both personal and professional experiences, I am incredibly passionate about assisting individuals in navigating the complexities of sexual assault, domestic violence, and intimate partner violence, guiding them along the way to no longer see themselves as a victim but as a survivor.
