"Every day do something that will inch you closer to a better tomorrow."- Doug Firebaug
I believe in an individualized, strength based approach in which you are the expert in your own life and past experiences. I strive to create a supportive, safe, and confidential environment that encourages insight and self-awareness. I believe therapy is a collaborative experience. My goal is to walk beside you on your journey of self-discovery and personal growth. I hope to empower you to make positive changes in your life that increase personal connections and help you to feel hopeful about the future.
I’m a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT)-Informed, Trauma-Informed Interventions, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I use elements of motivational interviewing, art therapy, mindfulness and psychoeducation to help you achieve your therapeutic goals. I seek to provide the most up to date interventions that are supported by research and are evidence based. My goal is to help you develop the skills to face life challenges and empower you to live a fulfilling life.
